Side-by-side rides!
If you’re looking for something adventurous, this is for you!

We are excited to get together for our 3rd Annual St. George WW Side-by-Side ride at Sand Hollow on January 11 at 9:30am.

Three important things to note about this year:
1) We are meeting at Mad Moose at 9:30am. That is earlier than in the past
2) We are limiting our group to 15 machines in order to provide a great experience to all who come (last year we had 16 machines in our group)
3. Mad Moose only has 20 machines (only (8) 4-seaters and (8) 2-seaters) in their winter fleet this year, so reserve early!!! Last year we only rented 10 machines

We will be renting with Mad Moose Rentals once again. Mad Moose (www.madmooserentals.com) is located at 5665 W Clubhouse Dr, Hurricane, UT, just a few minutes from St. George and minutes from the trailhead. When touring with Mad Moose Rentals, each rental includes everything you need: side-by-side, premium damage waiver, digital map, helmets, and goggles. We have also been informed by Mad Moose that their winter fleet is much smaller this year, with only 20 machines. Please reserve early!!

Karl Durst has agreed to be our guide again and will take us on a trail that will be scenic and fun. Karl is a great guide!

We’re starting a little earlier this year. Our 4 hour ride starts at 10:30am. We ask that you arrive at Mad Moose Rentals no later than 9:30am to fill out paperwork, make final payments, get safety instructions, and get into your machine. That will allow us to leave on time at 10:30am.

Rental prices are as follows and can be split between all the riders in your side-by-side to make this more affordable for everyone. When reserving, tell them you are part of the widow/widower group to receive a 10% discount off the prices below. Please note, if Mad Moose runs out of non-turbo machines, they will give us the Turbo machines at the non-turbo price:
• 2-Seat Polaris: $349
• 2-Seat Polaris Turbo: $449
• 4-Seat Polaris: $399
• 4-Seat Polaris Turbo: $499
• Or, bring your own side-by-side!

Due to the logistical challenges with getting all the machines through the entire ride, we are limiting the number of machines to 15. So sign up and find your group early!

We recommend that you organize a group to ride with you in a side-by-side and share the cost with others that want to do this activity. Please use this Signup Genius link to let us know who is in your group so we can keep track of everyone coming to make sure we don’t leave anyone behind. Please sign up even if you are bringing your own machine: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/70A0B4CA5A72BA6F94-45925257-2023

Once you have your group together, please have one person from your group call Mad Moose at (435) 220-5332 to make your reservation (be sure to check out their terms online). Please tell them you are with the Widow/Widower group with Gray Gifford for the January 11 ride. We’ll leave it to you to make your reservation and work out reimbursement from each rider. If you need help putting a group together, please comment below and we’ll help with that.

Feel free to reach out with any questions – either a comment below or send a private message to Gray Gifford. We are excited for this ride and look forward to meeting all of you!
